

Annie Baileys, reborn near Great Missenden, was originally situated in Cuddington, Bucks, having opened in January 1991. The name comes from the landlady of the day at the then Red Lion in Cuddington circa 1847... Anne Bailey is indeed buried in the church graveyard next door to the old restaurant, which was created in the Red Lion premises. We chose the name as it was in keeping with the old pub environment; little did we realize how many people would come to know and love it.
