Annie Bailey’s Irish Pub Happy to Announce
2nd Annual King Street Seisiún on
Sunday, March 15
With just over one month to go to St. Patrick’s Day, neighboring Irish-infused establishments Annie Bailey’s Irish Pub(28-30 East King Street) and Tellus360 (24 East King Street) announce today joint plans to ring in the iconic holiday with an all-things-Irish block party – the 2ndAnnual King Street Seisiún (“session” in Irish).
The event is scheduled for Sunday, March 15from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. and will take over the zero block of East King Street, including a 21-plus, ticketed area spanning from Penn Square and stretching to South Duke Street. The street will be closed for traffic from 8am-8:30 p.m.
Like any true Irish session, the King Street Seisiún is centered on great live music, including Central Pennsylvania-based Celtic acts The Kilmaine Saints, The Ogham Stones and Fire in the Glenn. Rounding out the entertainment schedule are dance performances by the Hooley School of Irish Dance, bag pipers and as well as tailgate games provided by Fly Magazine. Also, special appearance by the 2014 Atlantic League Champions the Lancaster Barnstormers!
Food and drink are available for purchase with special tokens, which can be purchased with your ticket as well as on site on the day of the event. Two beer trucks will be on site featuring brews from Guinness Stout, Magners Irish Cider, Harp Lager, Guinness Blonde, and Smithwick’s Irish Red. The Irishman Whiskey will be serving up Irishman and Gingers and Irish Coffees. Red Bull will feature Irish themed Red Bull drinks.
Annie Bailey’s will serve their favorite Irish dishes, including shepherd’s pie and bangers and mash. Tellus360 will be offering their Irish Stew and Chicken Curry.
In addition to the ticketed area, both Annie Bailey’s and Tellus360 will remain open to the public throughout the day.
Tickets to the King Street Seisiún are $15. Advance tickets are for sale below. Tickets go on sale Sunday, February 15th at 9:00 a.m. The event will benefit The Junior League of Lancaster, Lancaster Office of Promotion (LOOP), Music For Everyone, Lancaster City Alliance, A Week Away Foundation, and a Non-Profit to be named later.
