No Meat, No Problem!

Monday, January 08, 2018

If you're resolving to eat healthier (or at least less carnivorous-ly) in 2018, we've got you covered.

While the crossroads of Irish cuisine & comfort food usually brings to mind hearty, meaty dishes, we're proud to offer many a meat-less option (and even a few vegan) so that all can dine in our pub, no matter your dietary preferences!

So if this new year has you pining for less meat, we invite you to try out one (or all!) of these options on our current winter menu:

Annie's Vegetarian Shepherd's Pie

While ordering a vegetarian version of our most popular Irish Favourite has always been possible, we've finally gone ahead & given our Vegetarian Shepherd's Pie a much-deserved spot on the menu, complete with its own unique recipe. A delicious medley of pan-roasted root vegetables, mushrooms, butternut squash & lentils sautéed in a house vegetable herb gravy & topped with a crust of our famed chive whipped potatoes.

Menus: Lunch, Dinner, Brunch

Galway Smoked Salmon

This delicious starter is perfect for sharing, but you could easily pair the Galway Smoked Salmon with a side salad for a nice light meal. Featuring five mini-chive potato cakes topped with thinly sliced smoked salmon, house-made lemon dill boursin cheese, micro greens & a drizzle of Seasons' blood orange extra virgin olive oil.

Menus: Dinner

Vegan Chickpea Salad

The Vegan Chickpea Salad wrap has emerged as a go-to lunch option for meat-eaters, vegetarians & vegans alike! The crushed chickpea salad features vegan mayo, celery, scallions, lettuce, tomato & onion on pita bread.

Menus: Lunch

Harvest Salad with Vegan Chick'n Strips

As if our Harvest Salad wasn't enough of a draw on its own – a bed of baby spinach topped with apples, cranberries, shaved carrots, roasted butternut squash, crumbled goat cheese, pecans, pumpkin seeds & balsamic vinaigrette – adding Vegan Chick'n Strips will certainly up the ante.

Menus: Lunch, Dinner

Crab Cakes

For the pescatarians out there, our Crab Cakes entree is a must-try. Choose from either one or two 5-oz lump crab cake patties, served with Old Bay flash-fried red skin potatoes, sweet corn & edamame succotash & a zesty spicy remoulade.

Menus: Dinner / Crab cake sandwich available on the Lunch menu
